Gü Desserts has lifted the veil on its latest innovation, a trio of cheesecake puddings designed to stir up feelings of nostalgia among consumers.
With a nod to the 1970s, Gü's new range offers a contemporary twist on classic flavors and styles, aiming to captivate both younger demographics craving a retro vibe and older ones longing for the tastes of yesteryears.
The centerpiece of the lineup, the Nostalgia range, features two enticing flavors. The Black Forest Cheesecake is a modern reimagining, blending cherry and kirsch compote with creamy kirsch cheesecake and decadent double chocolate crème atop a dark cocoa biscuit base. Meanwhile, the Banoffee Cheesecake offers a fresh take on the beloved dessert, combining caramel banana crème, cocoa biscuit sprinkles, creamy mascarpone cheesecake, and double chocolate crème on a cocoa biscuit base.
Adding to the indulgence, Gü presents its Ultimate Chocolate Cheesecake just in time for Easter. This lavish treat boasts a triple chocolate experience, with rich dark ganache, creamy milk chocolate cheesecake, and white chocolate crème, all resting on a cocoa biscuit base.
Kate Utting, Gü's global brand and UK marketing controller, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "Our Nostalgia range breathes new life into beloved classics! With retro trends and cherished favorites making a comeback, we're thrilled to reintroduce these classics with Gü's signature flair. They offer consumers an affordable, luxurious indulgence for any night of the week."
Priced at £3.75, the new Gü desserts will hit Asda shelves starting March 28, with plans for wider availability in the months to come.
