Formed to address the challenges faced by the La Sèvre Dairy Cooperative (CLS), this new entity is poised to drive growth and innovation in the dairy sector.

The formation of Terre de Sèvre Dairy, officially established on April 30, 2024, represents a collaborative effort involving regional cooperatives and international partners. Financial support from entities such as the Terra Lacta group, Océalia group, Pamplia dairy, and Sèvre & Belle Cereals Appro, along with the participation of the Japanese company Kataoka, underscores the global significance of this initiative.

At its core, Terre de Sèvre Dairy remains committed to sustaining the livelihoods of dairy farmers, ensuring the continuity of milk collection from 100 farms across the region. By preserving 160 jobs and maintaining operations at two production sites in Échiré and Celles-sur-Belle, the company reaffirms its dedication to quality and tradition.

Moreover, the establishment of Terre de Sèvre Dairy paves the way for future growth and expansion. With a turnover of 56 million euros, the company is poised to embark on an ambitious investment plan aimed at enhancing competitiveness and driving brand development both domestically and internationally.
