In the latest Global Dairy Update from Fonterra Co-Operative Group Ltd., the report reveals a positive trend in Australian milk collections for January. The figures indicate a collection of 9.7 million kilograms of milksolids (KGMS), marking a 2.1% increase compared to the same period last season.
Conversely, New Zealand's milk production faced a slight downturn in January, recording a 1.5% decrease on a liters basis compared to the previous corresponding period (PCP). The total milk collections in New Zealand for January amounted to 158.4 million KGMS, reflecting a 1.8% decline from January of the previous season.
