Deadline Nears for Raw Milk Price Negotiations in Korea
Source: The DairyNews
Negotiations over raw milk prices in Korea are reaching a critical juncture as representatives from the farming and dairy industries remain at an impasse. A subcommittee of the Korea Dairy Committee board, established on June 11, faces a Tuesday deadline to negotiate and finalize a price.

The proposed increase, which could see raw milk prices rise by up to 26 won (2 cents) per liter, reflects farm production costs and market conditions. If the subcommittee fails to reach an agreement by the deadline, current raw milk prices will remain unchanged.
Once a price is settled, it will be voted on by the board of directors and implemented in market prices starting August 1.
