The Middle East Becomes a Priority Market for the Export of Russian Dry Milk

Export of dry milk has shown impressive growth over the past two years, according to DairyNews.today with reference to Agroexport materials. Shipments rose from 4,000 tons in 2022 to over 20,000 tons in 2023 and 2024.

In 2024, the top three importers were Kazakhstan (42%), Algeria (19%), and Armenia (9%).
However, a noticeable trend is the ramping up of exports to the Middle East. In 2024, approximately 1,500 tons of dry milk were shipped to countries in the region, with the majority destined for Egypt. In addition, shipments to Saudi Arabia began last year, with volumes already exceeding 110 tons.
