The leading business group from the United Arab Emirates, Alserkal Group, expressed its intention to establish the processing of fat and oil waste in Kazakhstan. This became known after a meeting of representatives of Kazakh Invest with the head of the Alserkal Group department.
At the meeting, it was announced that the Arab side was interested in implementing a pilot project for the processing of fat-and-oil waste and purification of used water for the production of wax, soap and other products.
Alserkal Group plays a key role in the recycling of waste grease traps obtained from the food industry and catering outlets throughout Dubai. The company owns the only edible oil processing plant in the Middle East.
Fat-and-oil waste, which are organic compounds of vegetable origin, includes used vegetable fats and oils, as well as fat-and-oil products that have lost their consumer properties.
