Walmart has launched its bettergoods private-label brand, featuring a range of dairy products among its offerings.
Described by Walmart as "a new elevated experience that delivers quality, unique, chef-inspired food at an incredible value," bettergoods represents the retailer's largest private brand food debut in two decades and the quickest food private brand rollout in Walmart's history, showcasing the company's agility in bringing trends and innovation to market on a large scale. Scott Morris, senior vice president of private brands, food, and consumables at Walmart, emphasized the evolving expectations of customers when it comes to private brands. "Today’s customers expect more from the private brands they purchase. They want affordable, quality products to elevate their overall food experience. The launch of bettergoods delivers on that customer need in a meaningful way," Morris stated. "Bettergoods is more than just a new private brand. It’s a commitment to our customers that they can enjoy unique culinary flavors at the incredible value Walmart delivers."
With prices ranging from under $2 to under $15, and the majority of products available for under $5, bettergoods boasts a diverse selection of 300 items spanning Walmart's aisles. This includes offerings in frozen foods, dairy, snacks, beverages, pasta, soups, coffee, chocolate, and more.
