Average Milk Yield per Cow in Kyrgyzstan Reaches 954.4 kg for the First Half of 2025

According to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, the average milk yield per cow in the country for the first half of 2025 amounted to 954.4 kg. This figure exceeds the corresponding data for the same period last year.

The highest yields were demonstrated by farms in Chuy (1,445.8 kg), Talas (1,075.6 kg), and Issyk-Kul (981.5 kg) regions, significantly surpassing the nationwide average.

- Livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight): 202.5 thousand tons (+3.6% compared to the same period in 2024).
- Raw milk: 856.4 thousand tons (+2.1% year-on-year).
- Eggs: 393.7 million units (+2.9% year-on-year).
- Wool (physical weight): 13.0 thousand tons (+0.7% year-on-year).
- Meat (live weight): 36.8 thousand tons (+4.1% year-on-year).
- Milk: 226.0 thousand tons (+3.6% year-on-year).
- Eggs: 67.9 million units (-18.1% year-on-year). A decline was noted in June, however, the overall half-year result remains higher than last year's.
- Wool: 7.26 thousand tons (+0.1% year-on-year), indicating minimal but stable growth.
