Sharpham Cheese wins two three-star Great Taste Awards

Sharpham Cheese has secured two three-star ratings in the 2026 Great Taste Awards. The awards went to its Savour and Ticklemore cheeses, which were assessed by an expert judging panel in blind tasting tests.

The judges described both products as “exquisite” and “extraordinary”. Those terms represent the highest praise available in the competition, according to Sharpham Cheese.

The double result continues the dairy’s record in the awards. Its Cremet cheese received a three-star rating in 2023. Savour and Ticklemore are the latest Sharpham products to reach that level.

The 2026 competition attracted 15,038 entries from around the world. Three-star ratings were awarded to 2% of those entries, placing Savour and Ticklemore within the highest-rated group recognised by the judging process.

Sharpham Cheese has also entered the Great Taste Golden Forks awards in the Better Business and Sustainability Award categories. The competition will announce the winners of those categories, along with the Supreme Champion, at a ceremony scheduled for 15 September in London, Britain.

Greg Parsons, co-owner of Sharpham Cheese, said the recognition applied to both products at a high level. “To have Savour and Ticklemore recognised at this level is absolutely phenomenal,” he said. “We are incredibly proud of our team and this double 3-star achievement is a testament to the hard work that goes into our high-quality products, from the farmers who supply our milk to the cheese makers who craft it.”

The awards recognise the two cheeses through the competition’s blind tasting format. The entries came from producers across the world, while Sharpham Cheese’s additional Golden Forks submissions will be considered separately from the three-star results.
