Peruvian dairy giant Leche Gloria S.A. witnessed a significant financial boost, with a 38% increase in net profits for the first quarter of 2025.

Leche Gloria S.A., a leading dairy company in Peru, recorded an impressive 38% rise in net profits during the first quarter of 2025. The company attributed this financial upturn to increased revenues, effective cost management, and improved profit margins.
The revenue grew by over S/ 71 million, marking a 7.47% increase compared to the same quarter in the previous year, driven by higher sales volumes and prices. Despite a 5.15% increase in the cost of sales, the gross margin improved by 16.36%, indicating enhanced profitability in the core business, largely due to cost control and potential price adjustments. Operating expenses also saw increases, with selling and distribution expenses up by 16.40% and administrative costs growing by 18.34%.
However, these increases were slightly above the revenue growth rate, suggesting potential operational cost pressures but no significant impact on overall efficiency. Pre-tax profit surged by 36.75%, while the net profit for the period saw a 37.93% increase, resulting in an additional gain of over S/ 21 million compared to the previous year.
The monthly profit climbed from S/ 18.5 million to S/ 25.5 million, with daily profits rising from S/ 618,311 to S/ 852,822. This performance highlights Leche Gloria S.A.'s efficiency, profitability, and sustainable operational model, as it generated over S/ 852,000 in net benefits daily in the first quarter of 2025.
