Kerrygold has launched a new Spreadable butter under the brand promise "Simply Made, Simply Spread". This product features enhanced spreadability directly from the fridge, aligning with Kerrygold's current trend of strong growth—sales have increased by 33% in value and 30% in volume, according to Ornua.

Made from Kerrygold Irish butter and blended with rapeseed oil, the spread promises the traditional taste with added convenience. Research by Ornua indicates that 90% of consumers are interested in trying the spread, emphasizing the rising demand for high-quality, convenient dairy products. Nicola Blackmore-Squires, Ornua Foods UK's marketing director, noted that the UK's spreadable butter market commands about £640 million in annual sales, with brands constituting 75% of this.

Kerrygold's new product, priced at £4 for a 400g tub, will be available in UK Tesco and Waitrose stores starting in April. The launch will be backed by comprehensive marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and in-store promotions.
