This increased capacity is poised to facilitate Superbrewed's product launches across various food categories in the US, partnering with multiple Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.

The CPGs involved encompass sports and lifestyle beverages, baked goods, confectionery, meat alternatives, and healthy snacks. Superbrewed's animal-free postbiotic protein, boasting non-GMO status and zero allergens, proves to be a versatile substitute or complement to animal and plant proteins in both existing and novel food formulations.

With an impressive protein content exceeding 85%, the ingredient is rich in essential and branched-chain amino acids, as well as valuable minerals and vitamins such as iron, zinc, phosphorous, and B12. Distinguishing itself as a whole food ingredient rather than an isolated protein source, the postbiotic protein stands out for its neutral taste, minimal color, excellent pH and temperature stability, and notable functional properties like emulsification.

Superbrewed has already initiated collaborations with dairy giant Bel Group, incorporating its postbiotic protein into various lines of cheese products. Kilian Daffner, Global Product Manager at Döhler, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the functionality and nutritional benefits of Superbrewed's innovative protein source. Döhler is eager to collaborate intensively to introduce nutritious, sustainable, and cost-effective products to global food and beverage markets.

Bryan Tracy, CEO and Co-founder of Superbrewed, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainability and efficiency in production. Partnering with industry leader Döhler is expected to expedite time-to-market, merging Superbrewed's natural fermentation process with Döhler's robust bio-manufacturing infrastructure to create novel combinations of functionality and nutrition in protein ingredients at competitive costs.

Döhler also plans to collaborate with Superbrewed to commercialize the postbiotic protein for CPG in business-to-consumer applications, aiming to rapidly expand Superbrewed's commercial offerings across North America and beyond throughout 2024.
