The XV Ukrainian Dairy Conference 2023 emerged as the pivotal gathering for the nation's dairy industry, drawing together influential figures from the Ukrainian lactosphere and high-ranking officials from the Ukrainian government.
Arsen Didur, Director General of SMPU, extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests, including Nadiia Bihun, Deputy Minister of Economy, Mykola Solskyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and Jerzy Plewa from Team Europe.
In his opening address, Alexander Anton, the Secretary General of EDA (European Dairy Association) highlighted the unwavering support of the European dairy industry, affirming, "Our confidence and commitment in Ukrainian dairy is exemplified by significant investments from European dairy companies in Ukraine. Our collaborative agenda revolves around three key objectives: a steadfast commitment to a reciprocal 'no tariffs, no quotas' approach for the long term, a collective dedication to dismantling trade barriers, and the seamless integration of Ukraine's dairy sector into the 'EU facility program".
