Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD), the Russian subsidiary of PepsiCo Inc. specializing in dairy production, increased its production volume to 1.002 million tons in 2024, a 2.8% increase compared to 2023 (975,400 tons).

Despite overall production growth, certain product categories experienced declines. Milk production decreased by 6% to 419,200 tons, and sour cream production fell by 12.4% to 31,700 tons.
At the same time, significant growth was observed in the production of other product types. Yogurt and dessert production increased by 20.8%, reaching 241,600 tons. Cream production grew by 11% to 16,900 tons, butter production increased by 1.5 times to 1,400 tons, baby food production rose by 2.8% to 151,900 tons, and dietary product production increased by 12.5% to 39,500 tons.
WBD's financial performance also demonstrated positive dynamics. The company's revenue in 2024 reached 145.8 billion rubles, a 13.2% increase compared to the previous year. Gross profit grew by 10% to 44.9 billion rubles, and net profit increased by 6% to 9.67 billion rubles.
Frito Lay Manufacturing LLC, which produces chips and croutons, also showed revenue growth of 11.8% to 7.6 billion rubles. The company's gross profit increased by 24.6% to 780.1 million rubles, and net profit grew fourfold, reaching 442.9 million rubles. The financial results of PepsiCo Holdings, which produces soft drinks, have not yet been published.
WBD faced challenges in supplying some key resources due to international sanctions. Rising energy and logistics prices led to increased costs for supplies from European suppliers. Some equipment supply contracts were terminated. The company was forced to reorient its supply chains, seek new suppliers and alternative materials. In some cases, air transportation was used to deliver raw materials, which led to increased transportation costs.
