In the North Kazakhstan region, the volume of investment in 16 projects is estimated at 60.3 billion tenge, and 600 jobs will be created. In particular, the region is expected to commission five dairy farms worth 10.3 billion tenge. A new workshop at the dairy plant may also be operational. Cost – 3 billion tenge.
In the North Kazakhstan region, milk processing capacity increased to 150 thousand tons

From 2019 to 2022, 15 projects for the construction of industrial dairy farms were implemented in the region. According to the akimat, the total capacity is 50 thousand tons of products per year. These facilities employ 460 people.

It is planned to launch the production of hard cheeses in the region. The implementation of the second stage is estimated at 1.5 billion tenge.

By the end of 2023, an oil extraction plant could be operational in the region for 23 billion tenge. The enterprise's capacity will be 300 thousand tons of products per year.

Now a feed mill, a mill complex and a granary are being built in the North Kazakhstan region. According to the regional akimat, the cost of the project is 6.8 billion tenge. 50 jobs will be created.

In 2019, a feed production plant with a capacity of 360 thousand tons of finished products per year appeared. This project is estimated at 4.2 billion tenge. According to information, the company employs 49 employees. In the same year, bioethanol production was restored at the plant for deep processing of grain crops. Capacity – 36 thousand tons per year. Additional lines for the production of starch (68.2 thousand tons per year), gluten (17.2 thousand tons per year) and feed products (71 thousand tons per year) were also introduced.

The akimat added that they are modernizing the production of dairy products. According to their information, over the past two years, milk processing capacity has been increased from 87.5 thousand tons to 150 thousand tons. The company created 250 new jobs.

In addition, in the same year, a seed production plant opened in the region for 750 million tenge. The capacity of this enterprise is 60 thousand tons of products per year. 15 people are employed here.

It was previously reported that the experience of the North Kazakhstan region in financing investment projects in the agro-industrial complex through a social-entrepreneurial corporation is planned to be scaled throughout Kazakhstan. In particular, it is planned to commission 65 dairy farms in 11 regions of the country this year.

In May of this year, the Prime Minister’s press service reported that 100 billion tenge had been allocated for their implementation in 2023. Thus, the largest number of facilities in this area will be built in North Kazakhstan - 17, Almaty - 12, as well as seven dairy farms in Pavlodar and Akmola regions. When these projects are launched at full capacity, milk production in Kazakhstan will increase by 322 thousand tons, which is about 5% of the total volume of milk produced in the country.
