Ukraine Sees Increase in Dairy Imports by 10.2% and Exports by 5.3%
Dairy exports rose by 5.3%, totaling $9.8 million, while imports surged by 10.2% to $10.6 million. Notably, cheese exports witnessed a substantial 67% increase, and sour-milk products saw a 4% rise.
However, some categories experienced a decline, with whey exports dropping by 58%, butter and milk fats decreasing by 19%, and milk and cream falling by 6%.
On the import side, butter and milk fats saw a sharp 76% increase, while whey imports grew by 14%, sour-milk products by 11%, and cheese by 5%. The only decline in imports was observed in milk and cream, which dropped by 3%.
