Earlier, Kommersant.Sibir reported that Soyuzmoloko.Sibir (National Union of Milk Producers) intends to propose nationalizing the Novosibirsk PepsiCo plant. According to the General Director of the National Union of Milk Producers Artem Belov, the organization does not plan to put forward such a proposal.
“The region really has an acute situation with a shortage of processing capacity,” says Soyuzmoloko General Director Artem Belov. “I would like investors to pay attention to this region, as it has both the potential for domestic consumption growth and export potential.”
