The volume of cow's milk production in Kazakhstan in 2024 amounted to 3.5 million tons

The main contribution to milk production was made by households in Kazakhstan (2.2 million tons, +2.2%), farms and individual entrepreneurs increased milk yield to 704.6 thousand tons (+2.4%), and agricultural enterprises - to 688.1 thousand tons (growth by 14.6%).
Among the regions, the largest volumes of milk were recorded in:
- Turkestan region - 447 thousand tons (+12.8%);

North Kazakhstan region - 370.5 thousand tons (+6.3%);

Abay region - 295.8 thousand tons (+2.5%);

Almaty region - 289.5 thousand tons (+9.8%);
East Kazakhstan region - 239 thousand tons (+5.8%). In 2024, more than 1.1 million tons of cattle and poultry (in slaughter weight) were slaughtered in the country, which is 4.3% more than in 2023.
Agricultural enterprises in Kazakhstan produced 488.1 thousand tons of meat, which corresponds to an increase of 10.3%. At the same time, households recorded a decrease of 458 thousand tons (-1.8%), while farms and individual entrepreneurs saw an increase of up to 221.7 thousand tons (+ 5%). Regional analysis shows that the leaders in meat production volumes were:
- Almaty region - 184.1 thousand tons (+ 11.6%);

Turkestan region - 130.3 thousand tons (+ 11.7%);

Akmola region - 134.9 thousand tons (- 0.9%);

East Kazakhstan region — 108.7 thousand tons (+4.8%);

Abai region — 84.6 thousand tons (+1%).
The total volume of egg production increased slightly, reaching 4.4 billion pieces (+1.2%).
