The parties discussed the expansion of trade relations between Kazakhstan and Italy, the introduction of a single concept "Made in Kazakhstan with Italy", DairyNews Internet reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"The export potential of processed goods from Kazakhstan to Italy exceeds 260 million dollars. Organic food products have significant advantages. One of the promising products that, according to our forecasts, will be in demand in the Italian market is horse meat. Kazakhstan can offer organic chilled horse meat, as well as export supplies of caviar and honey," the Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan said at the meeting.

Italy annually imports horse meat worth more than $ 140 million, Kazakh companies could quite successfully supply high-quality meat to Italian customers, the press service reports.
Armandakkaliev offered to work on the project "Made in Kazakhstan with Italy". This trademark can be used for goods issued jointly by SMEs of Italy and Kazakhstan.

"In order to stimulate domestic production, we plan to launch a Register of goods of Kazakhstani origin. It will be available to all interested parties and will become the only source of information about goods of Kazakhstani origin. Goods from this register will be eligible for state support," the Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan said.

Adolfo Urso noted that the concept of Made in Italy today is more about global product identification, about sustainable goods, social sustainability, which carries the concepts of "well done", "well recognizable". He supported the initiative to create a single brand. According to the minister, in order for a manufacturer to release a product under the "Made in Kazakhstan" sign, he, first of all, must emphasize the features of his products in order to differ from many other brands.
