In Northern Ireland (NI), the base price is set at 34.5 pence per liter, with additional payments comprising a 0.5 pence per liter Sustainability Incentive and a 0.8 pence per liter Input Support Payment, making the all-in price 35.3 pence per liter for April.

The cooperative highlighted that recent weather conditions have improved but acknowledged the challenges faced by farmers due to a tough spring. Despite a cautious market environment, with global and EU milk supplies still lagging behind last year but showing signs of narrowing gaps, Lakeland Dairies has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its farmers amid fluctuating market conditions. The cooperative continues to monitor the markets closely, pledging ongoing support to its farmers.
