The non-profit CLP, which recognizes brands that exceed minimum regulatory standards, has awarded Kabrita's goat milk-based infant formula its First 1,000 Day Promise Certification, Pesticide Free Award, and Purity Award.

"These certifications provide crucial third-party assurance of the strict safety standards behind our high-quality products," said Elieke Kearns, director of medical and scientific affairs at Kabrita USA.

This milestone coincides with Kabrita introducing the first and only goat milk-based infant formula in the US to meet all FDA requirements, following extensive clinical testing.

Goat milk proteins are closer to breast milk than cow milk proteins, making them easier for babies to digest. Kabrita's formula also contains five times more naturally occurring oligosaccharides than cow’s milk, a key component of breast milk.

"Goat milk-based infant formula is a valuable addition to the U.S. market, and we're delighted parents can confidently feed their babies knowing Kabrita’s formula meets the highest quality and standards," said Jackie Bowen, founder of CLP.

Kabrita USA is a subsidiary of Ausnutria, a Dutch company overseeing the entire supply chain, from farm to finished product. The company employs a rigorous safety process that includes over 90 quality checks for all formulas produced in its manufacturing facilities.

Goat milk for Kabrita is sourced from more than 100 family-run farms in the Netherlands, with production facilities located in Ommen, Kampen, Leeuwarden, and Heerenveen.
