Dairygold announces weather/fodder relief payment

The attainable Dairygold Milk Price for April Milk stands at 41.0 cpl, including VAT, at standard constituents, with the addition of the Weather/Fodder Relief Payment.

Taking into account the average April 2024 milk solids achieved by Dairygold milk suppliers, the April Milk Price reflects an average farm gate milk price of 44.2 cpl.

Furthermore, based on EU Standard constituents of 3.4% protein and 4.2% butterfat, the Quoted Milk Price for April is 44.6 cpl, inclusive of the Weather/Fodder Relief Payment and VAT.

A Dairygold spokesperson emphasized the company's recognition of the challenges posed by adverse weather conditions in April for milk suppliers, affirming their commitment to offering a robust milk price for the month.

Given the ongoing uncertainties in dairy market returns, primarily stemming from weaker global demand and relatively stable milk supply, the Dairygold board pledges to closely monitor market developments and conduct monthly reviews of the milk price.
