Amul: Fresh Milk Launch Set for US Markets Within a Week

In a groundbreaking move, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) is poised to introduce Amul fresh milk to consumers outside India, marking a significant milestone for the iconic dairy giant.
Within a week, four variants of Amul milk will hit the shelves in the US market, targeting not only the Indian diaspora but also the broader Asian population.
"We've long been exporters of dairy products, but this marks the first time we're bringing fresh milk to international shores," revealed GCMMF MD Jayen Mehta in a statement to PTI.
The logistics of milk collection and processing will be handled by the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA), while GCMMF will spearhead marketing and branding efforts for Amul fresh milk.
"Our recipes, our standards. Within just one week, consumers in key US cities like New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington, Dallas, and Texas will have access to Amul Taaza, Amul Gold, Amul Shakti, and Amul Slim n Trim," Mehta confirmed.
