The Italian company Carmec srl and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan are discussing projects for milk processing and cheese production

Issues of cooperation projects on milk processing and cheese production were discussed with the international manager of the Italian company Carmec srl, Mr. Antonio Ambrosio.

According to Arman Shakkaliyev, the Almaty region, East Kazakhstan Region, West Kazakhstan Region and North Kazakhstan region have the greatest potential for cheese production in Kazakhstan. At the same time, there are huge opportunities to establish production at the ICPC Central Asia site, which is located on the border with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Italian side expressed its readiness to explore potential projects and consider the possibility of investing in milk processing and cheese production facilities operating in Kazakhstan.

The talks also discussed strengthening trade and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy through the Road to Kazakhstan project. It involves the running of branded trucks between 30 Italian cities, which will carry information about the country, culture, national food, tourist opportunities and much more.

During negotiations with Olga Geluchi, coordinator of the large Italian concern AIICR, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliyev spoke about the existing export potential and significant opportunities for cooperation. AIICR is engaged in the development of trade, economic and industrial relations between the countries of Central Asia and Southern Europe, unites manufacturers and distributors who promote the export of European goods to the markets of the countries of Eurasia.

Earlier it was reported that the parties discussed the introduction of a single concept "Made in Kazakhstan withItaly".
