Milk and dairy products are nutritious and healthy foods that play a significant role in improving the physical fitness of the population and enhancing human nutrition and health.
This year, June 1 marks the 25th World Milk Day, and June 5 to 10 is the 27th National Dairy Nutrition Week. During this period, Yili Milk actively promoted scientific milk drinking advocacy activities, spreading the core concept of World Milk Day and bringing scientific milk drinking into the lives of more families and consumers.
To continuously promote World Milk Day and advocate for a healthy lifestyle, on the occasion of World Milk Day on June 1, China Youth Daily and China Youth School Media, in collaboration with the China Dairy Industry Association and Yili Milk, jointly launched the third season of the "World Milk Day in the Eyes of Youth" multimedia works collection activity, guiding the public to explore the charm of milk. After the event began, students from many universities across the country displayed their creativity and engaged in creative works based on the "Ten Core Messages of Milk Consumption for Chinese Residents." The university students used creative posters to convey the interesting thoughts and ideas of the new generation of youth, showcasing a healthy lifestyle for young people.
In previous themed events, consumer representatives and experts discussed the quality and charm of milk from multiple perspectives. The official themed event for World Milk Day 2024 has been further upgraded with multi-dimensional session designs, bringing a rich "sensory" experience to both on-site and online audiences.
"Hear" dairy industry experts solve everyday milk-drinking confusions. Liu Chao, Vice Chairman and Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China Dairy Industry Association, explained the origin of World Milk Day, while Zuo Xiaoxia, Deputy Chief Physician of the Nutrition Department at the Eighth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, interacted with the World Milk Day promotion ambassadors to deepen the audience's understanding of healthy milk consumption. The official themed event used new consumer questions and issues as entry points to bring cutting-edge, professional dairy product knowledge into thousands of households.
