Yemeni Prime Minister Highlights Local Dairy Industry at Exhibition

Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi on Saturday visited an exhibition that showcased dairy products and juices made from local raw materials. This event was held on the sidelines of the launch of the Investment Law 2025, highlighting the government\’s focus on supporting local industries and promoting the use of domestic resources.

The exhibition featured products crafted from locally sourced cow\’s milk and fruits, underscoring a commitment to enhancing local production. Prime Minister al-Rahawi praised the Ministry of Economy\’s efforts in expanding the dairy industry and reiterated the government\’s commitment to protecting local products and fostering a competitive domestic market.

The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment elaborated on plans to replicate successful dairy production models from Hodeida in other provinces, including Amran, Dhamar, Ibb, and Taiz. This strategic expansion aims to bolster the local economy and provide more opportunities for domestic growers and producers.
