Ibrahim Al-Hamli, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, oversaw the transfer of dairy factory equipment to the Agricultural Cooperative Union in Hodeida Governorate on Saturday. The equipment, including dairy production lines, refrigeration units, and solar energy components, was handed over to Mubarak Al-Qili, the Acting President of the Agricultural Cooperative Union.

The dairy plant project, valued at $954,121, aims to bolster local production, increase milk output, and support farmers towards achieving self-sufficiency. Al-Hamli highlighted the significance of this initiative in the state's strategy for sustainable development, emphasizing its role in enhancing resilience and addressing the challenges faced by Yemeni farmers amidst ongoing aggression and blockades.

Al-Hamli reaffirmed the Supreme Council's commitment to collaborating with humanitarian partners to support farmers through various projects aimed at enhancing resilience and fostering economic growth. He urged the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee and the Cooperative Union to uphold and advance milk production efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Al-Qili commended the efforts of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in bolstering the agricultural sector through sustainable development projects. He pledged the Agricultural Cooperative Union's dedication to executing the dairy factory project, underscoring its alignment with the Council's commitment to supporting agriculture and farmers in Yemen.
