The new facility is being developed to meet the rising demand driven by market growth in Mindanao, as well as the southern regions and the Visayas. Spanning approximately 42,000 square meters, the plant is initially set to produce 1.38 million bottles daily. Following planned facility enhancements, the maximum production capacity is expected to double to 2.76 million bottles per day.
Located in El Salvador City, the new facility will primarily produce Yakult, with plans to introduce Yakult Light following the upgrade. This strategic expansion underscores Yakult Honsha commitment to meeting increasing consumer demand and supporting market growth in the region.
