According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, in January-March 2025 there was a steady growth in production of key categories of livestock products - meat, milk and eggs. The growth was ensured by increasing the number of livestock and improving the productivity of animals and poultry.

In the first three months of 2025, Kyrgyzstan produced 291.6 thousand tons of milk, which is 1.2% (+3,381 tons) more than in January-March 2024. The increase was due to the growth of:
- cow population by 1.8%,
- productivity - an average of 358.8 kg per cow (in 2024 - 350.7 kg).
- the number of cattle - by 1.5%,
- sheep and goats - by 1%,
- horses - by 2%,
