In Kyrgyzstan, as of November 1, 2023, 1 million 540 thousand 297.9 tons of raw milk were produced. This is stated in the data of the National Statistics Committee.

As of the same date last year, the volume of milk production in the republic was 1 million 503 thousand 489.2 tons. This year, an increase in production is observed by 36.8 thousand tons of milk.

The leader in milk production is the Chui region, where as of November 1, 2023, 388 thousand 926.6 tons of milk were produced.

In second place is the Jalal-Abad region, on whose territory 334 thousand 672 tons of milk were produced.

Osh region took third place with a production volume of 297 thousand 254.3 tons.

Kazakhstani ice cream producers ended the warm season with a historical high. From May to September 2023, according to the Bureau of National Statistics (BNS), the country produced more than 46 thousand tons of ice cream and edible ice. This is 32.6% more than in the same period last year. Today, the share of domestic ice cream on the market is more than 80%.
