A model farm demonstrating modern French technologies in the field of small-scale goat breeding and milk processing will be created at the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin (KazATIU). The corresponding memorandum of cooperation was signed by the rector of the university Kanat Tireuov and a member of the board of CIFAL International Services - CIS SARL, managing director of Eurasian Bridge LLC Quentin Vercruysse.
As reported by the university press service, the project will be implemented with the involvement of funds from the state fund FASEP, established by the French government to support French companies that supply equipment and technological solutions.
"The model farm will become a production, educational and scientific platform for dual training of students. It will also be used as a training base for farmers and students from other universities in Kazakhstan and abroad," said KazATIU Rector Kanat Tireuov.
In addition, the project is aimed at an environmental effect through the introduction of "green" technologies for the full cycle of organic production - from livestock farming to processing and distribution.
