Tirlán Launches Inaugural Dairy and Sustainability Awards

Tirlán will hold its first Dairy and Sustainability Awards to highlight the dedication of co-op members who provide sustainable high-quality milk. The award ceremony is set for April 29, honoring dairy farmers who excel in milk quality, animal welfare, farm management, and sustainability practices.

Award Categories

The categories include the Overall Tirlán Milk Supplier of the Year and titles such as Sustainability Champion, Farming for Water Champion, Avonmore Fresh Milk Supplier, Milk Solids Champion, and various Milk Quality Awards. Regional, youth, innovation, and special recognition awards will also be given.

Special Innovation Award

The Cathal Moran Innovation Award celebrates cutting-edge practices on farms within Tirlán's reach, honoring the legacy and pioneering spirit of the late Cathal Moran.

Entries

Nominations are open at Tirlán Farm Life until February 14. Candidates will be evaluated based on milk quality, technical expertise, and sustainability metrics by a panel of judges.
