The Dairy Alliance and Georgia Beef Board Launch Grilling Initiative

The Dairy Alliance and Georgia Beef Board have announced a summer initiative aimed at celebrating Georgia agriculture and promoting seasonal flavors. This initiative, which runs until June 15, includes a Beef and Dairy Summer Grilling Sweepstakes, designed to engage Georgia residents by offering the chance to win one of three curated grilling kits. These kits contain a variety of seasonal essentials such as a cooler, a Georgia Beef cast iron skillet, and a charcuterie board.

The sweepstakes is a part of a year-long collaboration between the two organizations, which focuses on educating consumers about the connection between beef and dairy. Both industries are significant in Georgia's agricultural landscape. Farrah Newberry, CEO of The Dairy Alliance, stated, "Summer gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase how beef and dairy work together to create meals that are both delicious and nutrient-rich."

This partnership will be activated throughout the year with recipe content, social media collaborations, and on-site events. The goal is to highlight the nutritional benefits of beef and dairy and to increase awareness of sustainable practices within these industries.

The timing of the sweepstakes coincides with National Beef Month in May and National Dairy Month in June, offering consumers a timely way to celebrate these foods. Participation in the sweepstakes is open to Georgia residents, who can enter online. Winners will be selected in mid-June from all eligible entries.

The Dairy Alliance is a nonprofit organization funded by dairy farm families in the Southeast, working to promote dairy foods and industry knowledge. Their efforts are focused on eight states, including Alabama, Georgia, and Virginia, among others.
