Romania signs protocols to export dairy products to China

"Two protocols signed today in Beijing will make it possible to export Romanian dairy and fish products to the Chinese market. A delegation from our country is in the Chinese capital between June 30 and July 4 to expand the economic cooperation partnership between the two countries," stated the ANSVSA.

Alexandru Bociu, the head of ANSVSA, signed the Protocol for dairy products exported from Romania to the People's Republic of China and the Protocol on inspection, quarantine, and sanitary requirements for wild aquatic products intended for export from Romania to the People's Republic of China.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the signing of the Joint Declaration for a broad partnership of friendship and cooperation between Romania and China, ANSVSA noted. In April, Alexandru Bociu hosted a delegation from the People's Republic of China, including representatives of the General Administration of Customs, led by Vice-Minister Lyu Weihong. The discussions covered cooperation in customs, as well as sanitary and phytosanitary procedures and market access for agricultural products.

These agreements signify a strengthening of economic ties between Romania and China, enhancing opportunities for Romanian agricultural exports.
