PepsiCo's Quaker Oats has broadened its Protein range with a new flavor, Strawberries & Cream, now available in sachet and pot formats across UK retailers. This addition follows the recent introduction of the Peanut Butter flavor earlier this April, joining the Golden Syrup flavor in the lineup.
Divesh Parmar, General Manager at Quaker UK, highlighted the sustained growth in the hot protein cereals market, which has seen over a 20% increase in demand over the past year. "Consumers increasingly recognize the role of protein-rich breakfast items in supporting overall well-being. Additionally, there is a growing preference among younger shoppers for diverse and dessert-like flavors," Parmar said.
He further noted, "As the leading brand in the hot cereals segment, Quaker is well-positioned to inject further excitement into this category. The new Protein Strawberries & Cream flavor is designed to appeal specifically to younger demographics, offering them a unique taste experience."
