Central Asians Trained in Modern Animal Husbandry in China

Representatives of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan have successfully completed a training course on the development of modern animal husbandry, organized by the Center for Foreign Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China. This was reported by Dairynews.today with reference to the press service of the Kazakh department.
As part of the course, participants visited various enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of China, including dairy farms and factories, and also got acquainted with the work of cooperatives engaged in crop production and livestock breeding. The training program also included lectures on current topics, such as the development of meat processing, cattle and sheep breeding, as well as the prevention and control of epidemic diseases.
In addition, the participants took part in a symposium to discuss the prospects for agricultural cooperation between China and the Central Asian countries. It was noted that despite the differences in national and agricultural conditions, as well as institutional mechanisms, the countries share a common goal - the development of agriculture and rural areas. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of practices in the field of improving animal breeds, disease prevention and product standardization.
Upon completion of the course, all participants were awarded certificates confirming successful completion of the training.
