Petry Dairy is set to revolutionize its production capabilities with a R$12 million investment aimed at expanding and modernizing its industrial facility in Quarainzinho, Três de Maio. Nivaldo Petry, the company's owner, shared this development exclusively with Rádio Colonial during the recent Expoterneira 2024 event.
The planned expansion will add an additional thousand square meters to the dairy plant. Alongside this physical growth, the facility will undergo significant technological upgrades, particularly in automating production processes. The introduction of new, high-tech equipment is expected to enhance efficiency by automating tasks such as the loading of dairy products.
In line with its growth strategy, Petry Dairy also plans to broaden its product range. Known for producing popular items such as mozzarella cheese, snack foods, butter, cream, and ricotta, the company will soon introduce cottage cheese to its lineup.
Currently employing 80 people, Petry Dairy sources milk from over 300 local farms. Its products enjoy widespread distribution across Rio Grande do Sul, particularly in Porto Alegre and the surrounding metropolitan areas. This expansion and modernization effort is poised to strengthen Petry's market position while boosting production capacity and product diversity.
