Opalia and Hoogwegt's Partnership to Pioneer Cell-Based Dairy Market

One of the world's leading private dairy ingredient suppliers, Hoogwegt, has joined forces with Opalia, a key player in cell-based dairy production, to create world-first cell-based dairy products. This strategic commercial partnership is poised to redefine the global cell-based dairy sector and aligns with Opalia's expansion and commercialisation goals.
The agreement, spanning 2026-2027, aims to produce and showcase the versatility of Opalia's cell-based milk products worldwide. It leverages Opalia's pioneering sustainable dairy engineering technology with Hoogwegt’s extensive expertise in dairy markets across more than 130 countries.
Established in 2020, Opalia has rapidly emerged as an industry frontrunner by innovating cost-effective cell-based solutions and securing investments from prominent entities like Hoogwegt and Big Idea Ventures.
