Kyrgyzstan Leads EAEU in Agricultural Producer Price Growth Since Early 2026
In month-on-month terms, compared to February 2026, agricultural producer prices in Kyrgyzstan increased by 6.4%. Compared to March last year, the growth was 13.8%, and for January–March compared to the same period in 2025 — 11.7%.
The main contribution to the price increase was made by crop production. In March 2026, producer prices in this sector rose by 11% compared to February, 17.7% compared to December 2025, and 15.2% compared to March last year. For January–March, the growth amounted to 12.4%.
In livestock production, the dynamics were more moderate. Producer prices for live animals and animal products in Kyrgyzstan in March increased by 1.9% compared to February and by 3.3% compared to December 2025. In annual terms, the figure was 112.2%, and for January–March — 111.1%.
Overall, in the EAEU, the producer price index for agricultural products in March 2026 was 100.6% compared to February and 100.5% compared to December 2025. However, compared to March last year, the figure decreased to 98.1%, and for January–March compared to the same period in 2025 — to 97.9%.
Among the union countries, Kyrgyzstan leads in the growth of agricultural producer prices since the beginning of the year — 110.2%. It is followed by Kazakhstan — 101.8% and Russia — 100.1%. In Belarus, the index was 99.5%, and in Armenia — 95.8%.
