Deliveries of Russian ice cream to China significantly decreased in July of this year, falling by almost a third year-on-year. In July, China imported Russian ice cream worth $194,300. This was the lowest volume in the last three months, showing an 8% decrease compared to the same period last year and a 30% decline compared to June.

By the end of July, Russia ranked 10th among all ice cream suppliers to China. The top five were France ($5.1 million), New Zealand ($1.9 million), South Korea ($763,000), Italy ($682,000), and Japan ($539,000).

Despite the July decline, the total cumulative deliveries of Russian ice cream to China from January to July remained almost unchanged. Over these seven months, the import volume amounted to $2.1 million, just 1% higher than the previous year.
