In a formal statement, Kerry Co-op confirmed that RDJ LLP has been engaged to provide specialized legal assistance in advancing the arbitration proceedings. The co-op emphasized its intent to move forward swiftly with this matter, which has been a focal point of concern for its members.

RDJ LLP, a prominent legal firm with over 100 lawyers operating across offices in Dublin, Cork, and Galway, is well-regarded for advising multinational corporations as well as established and emerging Irish companies, institutions, and leading insurance firms. Their expertise is expected to be instrumental in resolving the protracted arbitration.

Arbitration Context
The arbitration, which has persisted for several years, centers on Kerry Co-op's efforts to secure the leading milk price for its suppliers during the years under arbitration. The board extended its gratitude to the Killarney-based law firm Terence F Casey & Co for its previous support and contributions to the case.

The ongoing arbitration issue was a significant topic of discussion at Kerry Co-op’s recent annual general meeting (AGM). During the AGM, it was disclosed that the amount owed to milk suppliers stands at 7.39c per liter, plus accrued interest. This unresolved matter has prompted numerous calls from suppliers for its settlement prior to engaging in any further discussions with Kerry Group on other issues.
