According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the key topics of discussion were the development of cooperation in genetics, selection, the import of breeding livestock, and the implementation of modern agricultural technologies.

In Brazil, the Kazakh delegation participated in Agrishow 2026, one of the largest agro-industrial exhibitions in Latin America. The focus was on the breeding of Angus and Hereford breeds, the development of biotechnologies, including embryo transplantation, and mechanisms for organizing direct supplies of breeding livestock to Kazakhstan.

During the visit, the vice minister held meetings with representatives of Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply, as well as with the Zebu Breeders Association.

By the end of 2025, the trade turnover of agro-industrial products between Kazakhstan and Brazil increased by 10% and reached $89.5 million. Both parties noted that the potential for cooperation remains significantly higher than the current figures and agreed to intensify efforts to increase the volume of mutual trade.

In Argentina, negotiations took place in Buenos Aires with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, as well as with representatives of business and industry circles. The parties discussed the expansion of cooperation and the possibility of launching joint investment projects.

"Argentina is a world leader in livestock farming. Our priority is to transfer advanced solutions in genetics and selection, as well as to implement joint projects that can ensure quality growth of the industry," noted Amangaliy Berdalin.

Special attention was paid to interaction with Argentina's National Institute of Agricultural Technology. The Kazakhstani side hopes to bring cooperation with INTA to a practical level, including the implementation of joint scientific and technological initiatives.
