Kazakhstan and Türkiye discussed common projects in the field of seed production

Vice Minister Abulkhair Tamabek, as part of his visit to Turkey, met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Turkey Ebubekir Gizligider.

The main topic of the meeting was attracting investment to Kazakhstan, as well as cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey in the field of agriculture - in particular, seed production.

Abulkhair Tamabek also met with representatives of the Association of Industrialists and Seed Producers (TSUAB), the Turkish Seed Association TÜRKTOB and the Seed Association of the Economic Cooperation Organization ECOSA. The Vice Minister discussed with them possible joint projects on seed production and the development of new varieties of seeds.

The press service noted that the 22nd International Exhibition of Greenhouses, Agricultural Technologies and Livestock Equipment GROWTWCH will be held in Antalya from November 22 to 25, 2023. Ebubekir Gizligider invited Kazakhstan, represented by Abulkhair Tamabek, to take part in this fair.
