Kazakhstan and China Agree on Construction of a 10,000-Head Dairy Farm in Kazakhstan

During the Kazakhstan-China roundtable, supported by JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST", the signing of 44 documents worth over $3.7 billion took place. These agreements aim to develop joint projects in various fields, reports Dairynews.today, citing the press service of the national company KAZAKH INVEST.
Among the signed documents is an agreement for the construction of a 10,000-head dairy farm in Kazakhstan between TOO "Asyl Farms", AGRIFAM Co., Ltd., and Powerchina Eurasia.
Previously, the media reported that in 2023, Asyl Farms planned to build a commercial dairy complex designed for 600 heads, with a project cost of 2.5 billion tenge.
Additionally, TOO "Batu Agro" and Hebei Lu Gang Ji Tuan Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement for the construction of a feed mill to produce feed flour from wheat, barley, and corn for cattle and small livestock.
The Chinese Myande Group, in collaboration with the KazFoodProducts Group of Companies, plans to construct a plant for deep processing of wheat into lysine, wheat gluten, and bioethanol in Kostanay. The processing capacity of the plant will be 400,000 tons of grain per year. This project aims to create high-quality value-added products, thereby strengthening Kazakhstan's position in the international agricultural market. Furthermore, the modernization of a corn deep processing plant in the Almaty region is planned. The upgrades are expected to increase the corn processing capacity to 100,000 tons per year, according to KAZAKH INVEST.
