Italian holding Bonifiche Ferraresi will launch deep grain processing in Kazakhstan
As part of the GFFA World Forum on Food and Agriculture and the Green Week exhibition in Berlin, a meeting of representatives of agribusiness from Kazakhstan and Germany took place. Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Erbol Taszhurekov, emphasized the significant potential for strengthening bilateral partnerships in the agricultural sector.
Erbol Taszhurekov highlighted land resources and human capital as key factors in the investment attractiveness of the Kazakh agro-industrial complex. He called for intensified contacts between ministries, industry associations and agricultural producers of both countries.
At the meeting, the current situation and development goals of the Kazakh agro-industrial complex, as well as favorable conditions for investors and investment projects in the sector were discussed. Kazakhstan has expressed interest in developing projects in the field of deep processing of grain, oilseeds, potatoes, sugar beets, fruits and vegetables, meat and milk, as well as fish farming and baby food production.
The Ministry of Agriculture noted successful long-term cooperation with German companies such as CLAAS, HORSH and PETKUS Technologie GmbH as positive examples of partnership between the two countries in agriculture.
