Industry Leaders and Growth Dynamics:

PepsiCo once again topped the ranking, despite the advertising and investment restrictions the company introduced in Russia starting in March 2022. The producer’s revenue grew by 18%, reaching 359 billion rubles. This success was driven by the active promotion of new brands Evervess and Frustyle, which replaced Pepsi, 7Up, and Mirinda. The company also plans to invest over 3 billion rubles in modernizing its production facilities in the Moscow Region.

EFKO Group retained second place, with revenue rising by 23% to 344 billion rubles. B2C finished goods production increased by 14%, and exports grew by 15%.

Rusagro, in third place, increased its revenue by 23.2% to 340 billion rubles, supported by the merger of its oil and fat business with the NMZhK Group.

KDV Group and Miratorg took fourth and fifth places, respectively, with revenue growth of 18% and 17%. However, Miratorg’s net profit dropped by 40% due to rising financing costs.

The fastest-growing company among the top 10 was Resource Group, which climbed from eighth to sixth place. Its revenue rose by 36% to 268 billion rubles, driven by an active investment program and M&A deals. The company announced a three-year investment plan worth over 40 billion rubles.

Cherkizovo, Nestlé Russia, Mars, and AgroPromkomplektatsiya rounded out the top 10 largest players in the sector.

Among the second tier of the ranking, the most notable growth was demonstrated by:

  • AB InBev Efes, with a 30% revenue increase to 141.2 billion rubles;

  • EkoNiva Group, which posted similar growth of 30.1% to 91.1 billion rubles (excluding its technical holding).
