In February, Revenue of Average Dairy Farms in Argentina Rose in Dollars

According to the Dairy Chain Observatory in Argentina, the average dairy farm's revenue saw a substantial increase of 41.9% in dollars compared to previous years. In pesos, the increase was more modest at 2.6%.
Despite the increase in dollars, the price actually fell by 6.3% in pesos but rose by 29.6% in dollars. In addition, production itself increased by 9.5%.
When comparing February 2025 with February 2024, there was a decrease of 3.5%. However, the accumulated annual data, comparing January and February of the two years, showed a 0.9% increase in revenue.
In the first two months of 2025, revenue in dollars rose by 39.5% compared to the same period in 2024. However, when comparing February against January 2025, there was a decrease of 17.7% in dollar billing.
Lastly, in a year-over-year comparison with February of the previous year, revenue increased by 27.7%.
