A new temporary taste of ice cream "in the name of peace" was offered in one of the cafes and pastry shops on the Italian island of Capri, where the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) countries gathered.
According to the ANSA agency, 5 flavors are offered according to the colors of the flags of the participating countries of the informal club of the most developed economies. Each of the containers with different flavors is decorated with an olive tree pattern and a symbol of peace.
"From here, from Capri, we want to send a message of peace. We chose the flavors of the flowers of the brotherhood and the symbol of peace, because everyone needs peace," the pastry shop said. They did not specify whether any of the ministers had visited them to try ice cream.
