Galloway Company Expands Production, Doubling U.S. Capacity for Sweetened Condensed Milk
“Over the last four years, we’ve seen growing constraints from the bakery and confectionery markets, with extended lead times and maxed-out production capacities,” said Mike Hasler, director of industrial sales at Galloway Company. “This expansion ensures we can not only meet the demand of our existing customers but also welcome new business.”
The addition of the second evaporator builds redundancy into Galloway’s production processes, ensuring uninterrupted supply while offering greater product customization to meet the needs of clients ranging from small-scale producers to large industrial customers.
The upgraded system incorporates high-efficiency motors, precision-engineered valve systems, and a fully automated homogenization process. It also features advanced lactose seeding and cooling technologies, which minimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact. Galloway has emphasized its commitment to sustainability while maintaining stringent quality control measures to ensure consistent product performance.
Galloway Company specializes in condensed dairy blends and beverage bases tailored to industrial applications. Its subsidiary, Classic Mix Partners, is Wisconsin’s largest producer of frozen dairy dessert mixes, serving clients across the United States.
This expansion positions Galloway Company as a key player in the U.S. concentrated dairy market, with the capability to better support growing demand in the bakery, confectionery, and beverage industries.
