FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Welcomes New Managing Director, Roger Adou

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC has announced the appointment of Roger Adou as the Managing Director, effective from January 1, 2024.
Succeeding Ben Langat, Adou is set to lead the company in delivering high-quality and affordable dairy products to the Nigerian market. In his new role, Adou will report to Ali Khan, President of the Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa Business Group (MEPA), with his office based in Lagos.
Expressing his excitement about the challenges and opportunities in the industry, Adou conveyed his honor in leading the company to new heights of success. He stated, "With a commitment to excellence, I look forward to steering the company as we continue to nourish Nigerians with high-quality and affordable dairy nutrition, now and in the future."
Adou, who joined FrieslandCampina in 2019, held the position of Regional Director for FrieslandCampina West Africa before his recent appointment. In this role, he oversaw a region comprising 18 countries in West and Central Africa. With over 21 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, Adou brings a wealth of expertise as a business leader with a proven track record in managing multicultural and diverse teams.
Prior to joining FrieslandCampina, Adou gained extensive experience in the beverage industry, having worked with The Coca-Cola Company and the Castel Group, a notable beverage and bottling company. Passionate about contributing to Africa's success, Adou has worked in various countries, including Mali, Niger, Senegal, Benin, Togo, and Cote d’Ivoire. He holds a Master of Science from ESCA Business School of the INP-HB of Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire, and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, France.
